Anno Domini Advisors Adds Brian Coleman as Senior Advisor and Broker

CHICAGO – Anno Domini Advisors (AD) recently welcomed Brian Coleman as the company’s senior advisor and broker.

A licensed attorney and real estate broker, Coleman’s experience includes working at the Archdiocese of Chicago, for which he negotiated over $10 million in rental income over the last year while negotiating 250 lease agreements during his six-year tenure there. His 25 years of real estate experience includes asset management, property development, sales and leasing.

More than half of Coleman’s career has been focused on church properties in the United States and United Kingdom working with Catholic and Anglican Dioceses identifying and implementing optimal real estate solutions.

Coleman, who joined AD in late October, described the move as “a natural progression” of his career.

“Real estate transactions are often very complicated, so you really need a trusted adviser on your side who understands the inner workings of faith-based real estate,” said Coleman. “Our heart is in the religious orders’ mission and it is absolutely critical that they have the resources—much of which is their real estate portfolio—and that they have someone to protect their interests.”

Based in Chicago, AD is a real estate brokerage and consulting firm that has helped hundreds of religious facilities. Among other services, the firm offers land and building solutions to support and strengthen facility managers’ care of their properties. AD is the only North American company focused exclusively on the real estate needs of the Church.

Coleman’s law and real estate brokerage background enables AD to expand and service more clients while still providing the knowledge and exceptional service that clients have come to expect, noted AD Managing Director Brian Dolehide. He called Coleman “the perfect fit” to join AD.

“Brian’s passion for faith-based real estate aligns wonderfully with the AD team’s vision. He has been 100% dedicated to faith-based real estate. He understands mission, ministry and heritage,” said Dolehide. “AD Advisors takes great care, and great pride, in helping our clients preserve and propel their ministry, mission and heritage, which Brian has been doing for years.”

Coleman’s role will include property acquisition, property management, property expansion, and long-range planning.

A resident of Michigan City, Ind., Coleman’s community involvement draws upon his real estate acumen. He is on the LaPorte County Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, serves as a volunteer for Chicago Volunteer Legal Services, and is a member of The Chicago Bar Association.

As one of the nation’s leading firms in the fast-growing category of faith-based real estate, Anno Domini Advisors has a proven history of delivering confidential, transparent real estate counsel essential for religious faith-based leaders during the emotional, stressful and complicated process of real estate dispositions and preservation.

Overall, the firm has completed hundreds of sale and lease transactions related to church properties, including schools, senior housing, retreat centers, and convents that span 32 states as well as two Canadian provinces. To learn more about AD Advisors, visit https://adadvisors.org/
